“Bank Mellat is responsible for 20% of all financial transactions of the country while at least 34% of the non-physical transactions of the banking system go through the bank,” Hadi Akhlaqi, the lender’s chief executive, was quoted as saying at the unveiling ceremony by the official news portal of the bank.
